On October 14th and 15th 2011, the staff of Patient Focus Africa embarked on what would soon become the trip of a lifetime. The trip was aimed at being a workshop whereby the staff learned from each other and grew stronger relations between one another. This was achieved and so much more. Upon arrival at Kloofzicht we were greeted by a warm and welcoming staff, however there was no time to relax as it was time to begin the staff bonding on a gigantic foosball field. Despite a few injuries it proved to be an amazing way to improve trust and to simply laugh among one another. This was followed by electronic clay pigeon shooting. This proved to be very few peoples secret callings in life, however the men did stand out from the boys and it was clear who was boss. The merriment continued with a magnificent 3 course Braai, in no time everyone was full, flourishing and ready for bed. The next day took more of a serious tone as each staff member provided a presentation of past present and future goals. It is safe to say that It was an amazing learning experience for each and everyone of its attendees. As the day drew to a close, everyone packed their bags and prepared for the short journey home, content with new friendships and mounds of knowledge both of which would be with them for a lifetime.
